Title:Home-based Case Manager and Visitation Supervisor (Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university -OR- 4 years full-time employment providing direct casework services to children and families)

Position is responsible for providing mandated court ordered services. Contractors will use evidence-based curriculum (provided by agency) to educate clients concerning parenting, discipline and child development with short- and long-term techniques in a safe and structured environment.

​Home-based Case Manager and Visitation Supervisor (Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university -OR- 4 years full-time employment providing direct casework services to children and families)

Position is responsible for providing mandated court ordered services. Contractors will follow all mandated policies and procedures of Alliance For LIFE and Department of Child Services (DCS).

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university -OR- 4 years full-time employment providing direct casework services to children and families. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. Must be 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to transport clients.

Compensation: Home-Based Case Work Up to $32.00/hour, evening and weekend hours anticipated.

Mileage paid to Home-Based Case Workers

 will follow all mandated policies and procedures of Alliance For LIFE and Department of Child Services (DCS).

 

Job Duties:

  • Contractors are always required to maintain a 4-6 client caseload.

  • Contractors must contact clients within 48 hours of acceptance of referral.

    • Contractors must ensure that all intake/visitation guidelines are completed at the first Face-to-Face meeting with clients.

  • Contractors must be willing to travel to Marion County AND surrounding counties.

    • Home-Based Case Manager must have approved commercial car insurance for work purposes **within specified insurance limits**.

  • Contractors must be willing to follow Alliance For LIFE approved evidence-based curriculum.

    • Contractors must reference usage of curriculum routinely in mandated reports.

  • Contractors must meet all required state deadlines for case documentation.

    • Contractors must ensure that reports are submitted timely.

      • Late submission of reports can result in disciplinary actions.

    • Content of reports must demonstrate that the employee is documenting client interactions appropriately. Additionally, contractors must document when redirection was required or when learned parenting skills were used successfully. 

  • Contractors must attend all required agency trainings

    • Home-Based Case Workers are required to participate in a case review-weekly and department training bi-weekly.

  • Contractors must always ensure the safety of clients with the constant monitoring to ensure that all family interactions are appropriate, and family focused.

    • Contractors are responsible for modeling and teaching short- and long-term skills using evidence-based programs.

  • Contractors are required to maintain timely contact with Team-Leads and Administration.

    • Employees are required to check work email daily (emails must be answered from Team- Lead or Administration within 24 hours).

    • Employees must respond to all text messages for Team-Leads and Administration within 12 hours.

      • *Urgent* Emails and Texts require a rapid response.
